END OF SEASON: That's it for LUDC IV. Congrats on Grae who has done a fine job as captain of the ship, with Chris helping out as secretary.
NEW COMMITTEE: Will "The Thrill" will be taking over the reigns as LUDC's new captain, with Mike taking up the secretary role.

NEWS SECTION
NEW: 21-05-08; LUDC IV comes to an end with the 5th Lucky Dip tournament. The final was fought between Wardie and JMU's Jon, with the JMU man taking the victory to become the 4th JMU player to be inducted into the LUDC Hall of Fame. More info here.

26-04-08; Liverpool finish joint 4th (with JMU) in the Uni Darts Cup in Lancaster. We drew 6-6 with JMU, but took the moral victory when Richard hit double 4 to win the Beerleg. More can be seen here.
23-04-08; Finals Night. Tibbers crowned as LUDC IV champion after coming from 6-4 down in the final to take the title... More details from the yearly league tournament can be seen here.

14-04-08; LUDC lose the varsity crown to JMU in the 3rd varsity match up. The standard was high, and JMU deserved the 9-6 victory. Bring on the 4th varsity in December! More details can be seen here.
08-04-08; Nearly 80 people turned up to watch the exhibition with Peter "One Dart" Manley in The Cooler at JMU Union. It was a fantastic night and lots of LUDC won the right to play One Dart (Grae, Chris, James, Wardie, Rich, Will, Lawrence and Alan R). However, only Will managed to take a leg off him from LUDC, hitting a superb 70 checkout and a 21 dart leg in the process. Darts! Info can be seen here.

07-04-08; The day before Peter Manley comes to Liverpool, Will wins a singles tournament at JMU to win the right to play Mr Manley.
05-04-08; In a controversial move, LUDC and JMUDC join forces to take a joint team to Sheffield Hallam to play the host and York. Unfortunately we lost 9-3 to York and narrowly lost 7-5 to Hallam. More details can be found here.
10-03-08; Tibbers beats James 4-1 in a singles tournament at JMU to win a leg against Peter Manley
06-03-08; James beats Tibbers 7-6 in a classic final to take the first ever LUDC Challenge Cup title. See here for more details
23-02-08; Liverpool qualify second in Group B to reach the quarter finals of the University Darts Cup. We'll be facing York at a later date. The stats from the group stages can be seen here.
12-02-08: The mixed doubles tournament was a huge success with Grae and Peach taking the title. This was probably a substitute for our yearly doubles tournament so all the details and match report (its an epic) can be seen here.
