The Challenge Cup will take place throughout both autumn and easter term. There are 20 participants taking part so in round 1, they will be joined by 12 byes. Since 2 byes were drawn against each other, round 2 will consist of 15 players and a random lucky loser.

The Semi's and Final night took place on 5th March 2008, at the Mount Vernon Pub. The standard was high, most notably Tibbers missed a coveted 170 checkout against Grae by millimetres (hit T20, T20, outer bull). Grae stepped up and hit a superb 112 (T20, 20, D16) with the very next throw. Quality stuff! Most legs in the 3 games were around 30 darts, with a majority below 30. Over the course of the night, Tibbers hit 10 100+, 6 140s, a 110 and 94 checkouts, all over 22 legs, which was staggering. James only hit 6 tons, a 140 and an 80 checkout (20 legs), but scored 60s and 80s consistently to just pip the title.
