Richard's Manifesto
I have proved my organizational capacity as Secretary over the past year and I have enjoyed working under the president. I now feel I have the ability, capability and training to make the step up to be the president of Liverpool University Darts Club.
When applying for position of secretary I told the good people of Liverpool University Darts Club that I would create them a stunningly beautifully website - I hope I have achieved this by providing a well defined base for dart lovers everywhere!! This shows I stick to my word and try my best for the society.
As president, I would organize a similar amount of meetings as present but the meetings may involve beer and food to prevent a "natural periodic state of rest for the mind and body, in which the eyes usually close and consciousness is completely or partially lost"; A.K.A. sleep... My skills will be essential in the push for:
increased facilities in the ASSK bar. A third board would be a major considering if an increase in members is achieved.
improved competitions for students to partake in and more fun/random tournaments.
the extension of the university team and organizing more home and away matches would be paramount for enjoyment, pride and media exposure in the infamous "Liverpool Student"
It would be my job to lead the society and provide guidance for everyone involved.
(Also the President VS Secretary match would be a bigger grudge match than it is this year! Something to look forward to...)

Paul's Manifesto
I am running for the position of Secretary because I believe I would bring many qualities and new ideas to the role that would both benefit the darts society and continue the growth of the society also. I believe I could maintain the high standards already set by the current President and Secretary and with the help of the future president could push the massive potential of the society forward even further.
My ideas for the society that I have include the growth of the society, getting more and more people involved, through both greater representation at university events and also pushing awareness through posters and other forms of (free!) advertisement, because I believe the bigger the society gets the more enjoyable, and even competitive, it will be for all involved, at all levels. Something we have already seen and benefited from this year, with the growth in members. Other ideas include more social activities, both in and out of the Aask bar! Due to the success of social activities seen already this season, such as Alcohol 501, the Christmas curry, etc. (Though I do appreciate these will eventually be determined by the social secretary). On a more serious note I would also like to introduce a restriction on the amount of e-mails the future president is allowed to send! And also introduce the future president to the writing and explaining things in 'Layman's Terms' instead of the extremely confusing 'Oxford-Graduate Terms'... Sorry James!
The previous experience I have which I believe will enable me to be successful in the role include-
House Captain- I was elected house captain and given responsibilities including organising all sporting and social activities within my upper-school house (approx. 100 people) from year 9 through to upper sixth form.
Student Councillor- I was elected student councillor and given various tasks to fulfil within my sixth form college, working alongside other councillors.
Unofficial Vice Vice Vice President of LUDC- I elected myself to this position, to James' and Richard's delight and have subsequently been the heart of LUDC, helping to maintain the society and make sure things run smoothly. James has shown his eternal appreciation by nicknaming me the 'Saviour', something not many people are aware of.*
Although I do love a laugh and a joke, and to very occasionally wind up Richard, who I would possibly be working alongside, I am still hard working and believe I would be able to fulfil all the responsibilities of the position. But more than this I would really love the role and know I would thoroughly enjoy it!
Cheers, Paul 'The Saviour' Consterdine
*This may not be entirely true!
Ben's Manifesto
My aim if elected as Treasurer would be to help improve on the excellent work already done by the existing society board members. As an Engineering student I have a good knowledge of maths which I can put to good use.
As most of you know I spend quite a lot of time in the darts room so if any of you have a problem or a question you want raising in a board meeting, just let me know. I also have helped out in previous events such as trials and the lucky dip tournament.
As for things I would like to improve I would like increase the amount of people in the society, and try to get another board installed in the darts room or better lighting installed.
