(c) = match is conceded by an opponent if they cannot play a particular match for some reason. If you wish to concede, contact your opponent and the president telling them so. The opponent will receive 2 points for the win and a 4-2 victory.
(ff) = forfeit – when a player does not respond to their opponents e-mails they will incur a 4-2 loss. Their opponent will receive 2 points for the win and a 4-2 victory. The forfeiter will lose 1 point from the league table.
C/T = neither of the participants in a match contact the president by the Friday deadline (4pm latest) so the winner of the match is decided by a coin toss. Both participants will lose a point from the league table.
Format of the ladder:
1) Matches will be 501, straight in, doubling out and will be best of 7 legs. Once one player has won 4 legs, the match stops and remaining legs are not played.
2) Two points shall be awarded for a win, 1 for a 4-3 loss and no points for a 4-2 loss or worse. If people forfeit a match or are involved in a coin toss then they shall lose 1 point from the league table. The results shall be tabulated in a ladder results table.
In general, if two players are equal on points then the leg difference will determine order. However, once the ladder is completely finished in December, and two players are level on points and level on leg difference then results between the tied players will be taken into account.
3) Every other level of the ladder (except the top one) will have four people on.
4) For the middle rows of ladder, the two players on a row who lost their previous matches will play those on the row below who won their previous matches. A coin toss shall decide the two possible matches for each set of matches.
5) The players who are vertically adjacent to each other in the same colour are playing each other that particular week.
6) If you win a match, you switch places with your opponent in the ladder.
